Batteries tailored to your sector of activity

GCK Battery offers a wide range of solutions to meet different needs. Whether standard, modular or customised, designed in collaboration with the customer, our batteries can be used in a variety of applications.

Light mobility

GCK Battery manufactures standard and customised lithium-ion batteries for a wide range of applications, including electric scooters, electric bicycles, electric mopeds, light and heavy electric quadricycles, and electric cars, in response to current concerns about sustainable development and changing usage habits, particularly in urban areas.

Electric-assist bicycles

GCK Battery has developed recognised expertise in the design and manufacture of customised batteries for electric bikes. Thanks to our expertise, we offer solutions designed and assembled in France that meet the specific requirements of this market: lightness, compactness, autonomy and performance. Our teams design batteries tailored to each set of specifications, incorporating internally developed management systems (BMS) to optimise safety and longevity. This adaptability has already enabled us to support major players such as:

 

  • JC Decaux – Specific batteries for e-Vélo’v
  • Fifteen – Eco-friendly lithium-ion batteries for shared bicycles

 

Did you know? In line with the changing regulations for electric-assisted bicycles, GCK Battery already offered products that complied with the new requirements!

Since July 2025, all electric bikes (e-bikes) placed on the market must be equipped with a battery that complies with the new NF EN 50604-1 standard.

Road and off-road transport

GCK Battery is contributing to the decarbonisation of transport. The company designs, develops and manufactures batteries for heavy vehicles requiring multiple power ranges for fully electric or hybrid electric-hydrogen applications: coaches, lorries, specialised vehicles, boats, etc.

Coaches

Retrofit with hydrogen fuel cells

When converting a coach to hydrogen fuel cells, batteries must be added to respond instantly to the driver’s commands.

GCK Battery equips all vehicles retrofitted with hydrogen by its affiliate company GCK Mobility:

  • Immersion battery modules
  • 12S or 13S architecture depending on the voltages required
  • Battery casing with R100 certification

Marine

100% electric retrofit

GCK Battery provides solutions tailored to the constraints of the nautical sector: compliance with specific regulations, IEC certifications, support via our affiliate company GCK Mobility.

GCK Battery and GCK Mobility support players in the nautical sector in their environmental initiatives (reduction of air and noise pollution).

The Compagnie des Bateaux du Lac d’Annecy decided to take action in March 2022 by entrusting us with the electric retrofit of five cruise boats.

The conversion allows them to operate for a full day without recharging, i.e. a total of 10 hours at a cruising speed of 20 km/h.

Motorsport

Motorsport has always been the best testing ground for new technology, demonstrating its maturity in terms of performance and reliability. We develop and produce lightweight, powerful and safe batteries specifically for motor racing.

e-Blast H2

Rally raid prototype

The e-Blast H2 is a rally raid prototype equipped with a fuel cell delivering approximately 200 kW of power and fuelled by 30 kg of hydrogen stored in four R134-certified tanks at a pressure of 700 bar.

It is equipped with a 50.7 kWh lithium-ion battery that powers the new electric motor designed to deliver 320 kW, equivalent to 430 horsepower.

APH-03

T3-U hybrid: a world first

The APH-03 is the world’s first hybrid T3-U. It was designed by GCK Performance on behalf of Apache Automotive and won the 2024 Africa Eco Race.

GCK Battery developed a 48-volt battery pack equipped with two 3.6 kWh modules, designed for performance and using innovative immersion technology, capable of delivering 600 A continuously and 1,000 A at peak.

Railway

GCK Battery designs, develops and manufactures batteries for rail transport vehicles requiring multiple power ranges for full electric or hybrid electric-hydrogen applications.

Draisy

100% embedded battery

GCK Battery, alongside Lohr, Stations-e and Railenium, is one of four partners chosen by SNCF to develop a new rail system tailored to local mobility needs.

The consortium’s ambition is to boost the appeal of ‘small lines’ covering around 100 kilometres by offering more frequent services.

This led to the creation of the Draisy project: a light rail system powered by electricity and a battery specially designed by GCK Battery, intended to revitalise small lines with low passenger traffic potential in rural areas.

GCK Battery offers manufacturers of construction equipment, building tools and agricultural machinery engineering solutions that deliver the best performance: co-designed products, bespoke manufacturing and lithium-ion technology offering the best weight-to-power-to-longevity ratio.

Industry

We design batteries for robots and automated guided vehicles (AGVs). Our products enable the system to carry a large energy reserve, while taking into account weight and space constraints. In this field, equipment reliability is essential to ensure that the robot remains available 24 hours a day. Fast or partial charging? Our lithium-ion technology adapts to the conditions of use.

Energy storage

GCK Battery works closely with its affiliate company GCK Energy to develop lithium-ion battery storage solutions that optimise installations:

  • Off-grid, to store electricity for a given period of time.
  • On-grid, to accumulate energy and release it when power is needed or during peak consumption.
