GCK Battery produces standard and custom lithium-ion batteries for a wide range of applications: electric scooters, electric bicycles, electric scooters, light and heavy electric quadricycles, electric cars – in response to current concerns about sustainable development and changes in usage, particularly in urban environments.

JC DECAUX | Battery for e-Vélo’v

At the request of JC Decaux, GCK Battery has developed a compact, lightweight battery (530g) that is easy to transport and use. This battery enables the electrically assisted e-Vélo’v in service in the Lyon metropolitan area to offer users a full charge every time they set off, for a range of 8 to 10 kilometres.

 

The battery recharges in just 2 hours via a USB-C port, and features a system of indicator lights on the handlebars of the e-Vélo’v to check the charge level throughout the journey.

JC DECAUX | BMS developed in-house specifically for JCDecaux.

Thanks to its expertise and integrated design office, GCK Battery is able to develop in-house BMSs for the specific needs of its customers. Thus, GCK Battery has developed a BMS specifically for JC Decaux with these main characteristics:

 

  • 7S lithium battery management, nominal voltage 24 volts
  • Discharge current: 15 A continuous / 25 A peak
  • Includes a converter for direct charging via UBS-C socket: 35 watts of power
  • Includes a power-bank function via the UBS-C socket: 35 watts available
  • Smart BMS with all battery safety functions
  • Communication via CAN 2.0B bus with feedback of all information
  • Dynamic calculation of SOC / SOH
  • History management to facilitate after-sales service
  • Very low standby consumption < 100 µA

MOBIVIA/FIFTEEN | Eco-responsible lithium-ion battery

Mobivia and Fifteen wanted to entrust the assembly of these batteries to a company based in France, as part of a drive to reduce CO2 emissions from the transport of this equipment.

GCK Battery was able to meet this demand by designing Com03 batteries with these specific technical features:

 

  • 36 V / 380 Wh / 10S3P battery, using 18650 cells
  • Integrated USB-C charger
  • Waterproof – IP66
  • Weight: less than 3 kg
  • Metal casing – more robust
  • For use in bike sharing
  • 2024 production: 5,000 batteries

MOBIVIA/FIFTEEN | BMS developed in-house specifically

Thanks to its expertise and integrated design office, GCK Battery has developed a BMS specifically for Fifteen with these main features:

 

  • 10S lithium battery management, nominal voltage 36 volts
  • Easily modifiable to manage 13S, nominal voltage of 48 volts
  • Very compact mechanical design, compatible with batteries built into the frame
  • Discharge current: 15 A continuous / 25 A peak
  • Smart BMS with all battery safety functions
  • Communication via CAN 2.0B bus with feedback of all information
  • Dynamic calculation of SOC / SOH
  • History management to facilitate after-sales service
  • Very low standby consumption < 50 µA
